Our Veterinary Services

What's life without a pet? We have created a veterinary clinic dedicated to the well-being of your family pets, providing comprehensive care from the early stages of life to their golden years. If you view your pets as integral members of your family and seek a warm, empathetic and approachable veterinarian, you've found the right place.

Pointe Vet's services encompass a range of offerings including wellness exams, vaccination, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology and everything in-between. We have a comprehensive in-house laboratory and offer routine, soft-tissue, orthopedic and dental surgery. We offer radiology and ultrasound and have a full scale pharmacy for all pet medications. Our technicians are also available to  perform services such as nail trimming, anal glands, dental health tutorials and dietary support and programs.

We believe in an open hospital policy. Your animal is most comfortable when you are with them so we encourage you to be present for any visit with us.

  • We believe that preventative medicine helps protect, promote, and maintain the health and well-being of your pets, from first time puppies and kittens to adult routine check ups or complex medical conditions. Earlier detection of health conditions means earlier treatment and a better prognosis.

  • We offer surgeries such as spaying and neutering, dental surgeries, lump removals, cystotomy (removal of urinary stones), enucleations, wound correction, gastrotomy (foreign body removal), and other common surgeries.

  • Telemedicine is not always the right option for your pet, but in certain cases this can be a useful way to follow up with and treat concerns. Please note telemedicine is reserved for existing Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationships (VCPRs) with discretion to the particular medical case. Our triage team is available to help you determine whether telemedicine is the right choice for your pet's medical issue.

  • Whether your pet is sick or injured, we’re here to help get them the care they need. We do our best to fit everyone in but it is not always possible. Our triage technician will help guide you in the event that we cannot see your pet the same day.

  • Our dentistry services include comprehensive oral exams, professional cleanings, dental X-rays, and treatment for dental issues such as periodontal disease.

  • Our imaging services help diagnose and understand various health conditions in pets. This includes X-rays and ultrasound to examine bones, organs, and soft tissues.

  • We offer a range of diagnostic tests to assess your pet's health such as: blood tests, urinalysis, fecal analysis in house (results in under 30 minutes) and cytology or fluid samples with specialist commentary and rapid results.

  • Planning to travel with your pet? We assist in the preparation of essential travel documents, including health certificates, vaccinations records, required blood tests and deworming.

  • Pet euthanasia is a compassionate end-of-life option for pets experiencing terminal illness, severe injury, or declining quality of life. Our clinic offers gentle and respectful euthanasia services, allowing pet owners to say goodbye to their beloved companions in a peaceful and dignified manner.

EMERGENCIES

We are equipped to handle certain emergencies during office hours. We are a small clinic and there may be times when your emergency would be better handled at a larger facility. If an emergency should occur during our office hours, we recommend contacting us prior to coming to the clinic. Our triage technicians are available to guide you with what is best for your animal. If we are closed or not able to respond, contact an emergency clinic immediately.
